Leeds United are interested in signing Kerim Alajbegovic from Bayer Leverkusen this summer.
Having secured their place in the Premier League for another season, the Whites have turned their attention towards bolstering their ranks in what is going to be a crucial summer transfer window.
The Athletic reported on Tuesday that Leeds United have set their sights on strengthening their options in the final third.
Daniel Farke‘s side are braced for significant interest in Wilfried Gnonto, who could be sold despite having two years left on his contract, and could, thus, bring in a new wide attacker.
£10m for Willy Gnonto is a fair price, right Leeds fans? 👀
The winger has hinted he is leaving, amid links with Freiburg.
Leeds United hold meeting with Kerim Alajbegovic’s representatives
Leeds United are keeping tabs on Alajbegovic at Leverkusen as they look to reinforce their options in attack this summer, according to the Daily Mail.
Reporting for the newspaper, Simon Jones noted that the Elland Road outfit have already met the representatives of the Bosnia & Herzegovina international for talks.
However, the same is true for Arsenal and Aston Villa in the Premier League, as well as Serie A sides Napoli, Roma and Inter Milan.
Leverkusen sold the 18-year-old to Red Bull Salzburg, but have already triggered an option to bring him back for £7million.

However, the aforementioned clubs are keen to test the Bundesliga club’s resolve by tempting them to make a quick profit on Alajbegovic.
Interested clubs are considering making offers close to £18m, prompting Leverkusen to consider their stance.
More talks regarding the winger’s future are scheduled in the upcoming weeks.
