Leeds United are approaching the period in the window where Premier League sides start making decisions on their fringe players.
Clubs have now returned from their pre-season tours and final preparations are underway to be ready for the start of the new campaign.
This time 12 months ago, Leeds made heavy use of the Premier League loan market in the final few weeks of the summer, signing all of Joe Rodon, Djed Spence and Jaidon Anthony.
Daniel Farke is still keen on strengthening three positions this month and once again, a lot of the players being linked with moves to Elland Road are from the top-flight.
A new full-back, attack-minded central midfielder and winger are top of Farke’s wishlist, but the Leeds boss faces a patient wait to find out if they can land one of their targets.

Leeds face wait to find out Bobby Clark decision
Landing Premier League loans can be difficult for Leeds as they are not in a position to offer guarantees regarding game time.
However, that will not stop Leeds from targeting them, with Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Hugo Bueno, Crystal Palace’s Jesurun Rak-Sakyi and Liverpool’s Bobby Clark on the list.
Leeds face stiff competition from elsewhere for all three but decisions could be made quickly on the futures of both Bueno and Rak-Sakyi.
However, according to the Athletic, Leeds may have to wait to find out whether they will be able to sign Clark.
It is said while a loan move to the Championship is the most likely scenario, the Reds are in ‘no rush’ to make a decision on where he will end up.
Red Bull Salzburg are also in the running for Clark, and have already seen a permanent bid of £6 million turned down, with Liverpool holding out for double that.
Who is Leeds target Bobby Clark?
Clark is actually the son of former Huddersfield Town and Birmingham City manager Lee Clark and has been tipped for a bright future.
He is capable of playing both as a winger or central midfielder, and already has 14 senior appearances for Liverpool under his belt, scoring once and assisting twice.
One of his appearances actually came during Liverpool’s EFL Cup final win over Chelsea earlier this year, in which he played 48 minutes from the bench.
He has a track record of both goals and assists across Liverpool’s youth groups, and would be a decent addition to Leeds’ squad.
