Plenty of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to react to comments made by Jack Harrison on Sunday when asked about his Elland Road future.
We have had to come to terms with the loss of our two most important players already this summer. But there has also been speculation surrounding Harrison’s future with the club.
Tottenham have been linked. But it would appear that his biggest admirer is Newcastle.
The Daily Mail reported this weekend that Leeds have set a £35 million asking price for the winger. That may be enough to ensure that the 25-year-old goes nowhere.
However, we also know that the player’s desire can also have an impact on whether they move or not. So when Harrison was asked whether he was staying after the loss to Aston Villa, some fans may have been hoping for an emphatic answer.
Instead, Harrison simply started his answer with ‘We’ll see‘.
Now, it is important to suggest that the winger was probably not expecting the question. And he has said nothing that suggests that he is looking to leave.
‘Very odd’: Leeds fans react to comments from Jack Harrison
The phrasing of the question probably did not help either. It was put to him that he was going nowhere and he just needed to confirm that. And that is dangerous if there are rumblings in the background.
It has divided some Leeds fans on social media. Some are not too concerned, while others are a little disappointed that Harrison has left the speculation door open.
With that in mind, here is how some of the fans reacted to the comment…
On ya bike then easily replaced

If they’re willing to pay £20m for him I’d let him go.
Clearly had his head turned

If we lose Harrison as well then we would need to get a competent replacement otherwise it could be a tough season, would have to be a very good fee for me to even consider it #LUFC https://t.co/qHxb0NSfgQ
