One key Leeds United player is about to join Archie Gray in leaving Elland Road permanently this summer and the newly-signed Tottenham talent has liked a post on Instagram.
Gray’s £40m move to Tottenham was the first of a number of permanent sales made by Leeds this summer as The 49ers look to rake in some cash to aid the club financially, and reinvest this summer.
The 49ers have opted to move quickly at the start of the window in getting players out of the door on a permanent basis. Gray has joined Spurs for £40m, and a quarter of that has gone to Spurs for Joe Rodon.
Elsewhere, Diego Llorente and Marc Roca are now Real Betis players. Charlie Cresswell has gone to French side Toulouse, while Kris Klaesson is in Poland with Rakow. Now, Glen Kamara is about to join that list.

Archie Gray likes post reporting Glen Kamara set to leave Leeds
Kamara was missing from the latest training video and then, Fabrizio Romano took to X to inform fans that Kamara was close to signing for Ligue 1 side Rennes in a deal worth £8.5m, a year after joining Leeds.
It comes as a bit of a surprise given how crucial a role “underrated” Kamara has played for Leeds over the last year, but because Leeds only signed the Finland international from Rangers in the summer of 2023.
He could end up facing Cresswell next season when Rennes take on Toulouse on November 10. Talk Leeds reported Romano’s update on Instagram and the post has been liked by none other than £40m Gray.

Leeds must act quickly after losing Kamara to Rennes for £8.5m
Yes, it brings Leeds some cash and earns the club an instant profit for a player in his late twenties. But what it also means is that there is a massive hole in Leeds’ midfield now, ahead of the 2024-25 season.
With Gray also going and Ethan Ampadu in defence, Leeds need midfielders. Ilia Gruev remains and there is teenager Charlie Crew, as well as new signing Joe Rothwell. But Crew is yet to make his debut for Leeds.
Rothwell is a good player, but should only be signed to provide depth. Not a starter for a club like Leeds and the Whites need to find a direct replacement for Kamara before the opener against Portsmouth.
