Leeds United are not the only RedBull-owned side preparing for a campaign in the top flight after winning promotion, with Paris FC in exactly the same boat.
After a second-placed finish in Ligue 2, Paris FC are preparing for their first-ever Ligue 1 campaign with Red Bull now in place. The energy drinks conglomerate own a 10.6% stake in Paris, much like Leeds.
They are now set to embark on a season in which they will reignite the Paris derby, against PSG. A huge season and with Red Bull behind them, they have plenty of cash to give them the best chance of survival.
Indeed, it is not the first time that Paris FC have emerged on the radar at Leeds. Newly-promoted Paris were touted with a move to sign seven-time France international Josuha Guilavogui back in January.

Promise David wanted by Paris FC after Leeds United links
Leeds are in the market for a new striker and Promise David has emerged on the Leeds radar. The lofty striker has excelled for Belgian giants USG, who can win the Belgian title on Sunday with a win over Gent.
Initial reports said that Leeds and Brighton wanted the Canadian striker, with a fee of £16.8m required. However, a new report from Jeunes Footeux states that Paris are also interested in signing David.
Actually, according to the newest reports, a fee of only £10m will need to be put on the table for USG to consider a sale in the coming weeks and months. Bought for a nominal fee, it is pure profit for USG.

What Jesse Marsch said about Promise David after call-up
Back in March, Canada manager and disliked Leeds figure Jesse Marsch called David up to the National Team for the first time. It comes after scoring 22 goals and laying on five assists throughout 2024-25.
Marsch said, after calling him up: “We’ve talked a lot about his progress. He’s excited about joining the National Team. Both of these are big talents [Daniel Jebbison and David]. They fit the way we play.”
It will be interesting to see where David ends up, especially with Champions League football on offer if US get the job done on Sunday and secure the title. It might well be that he wants to stay put at USG.
