Leeds could use some added firepower in attack.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Lukas Nmecha have delivered a respectable amount of goals, with the latter scoring three in his last four Premier League appearances before missing the 3-3 draw against Liverpool through injury.

The impressive Calvert-Lewin has three in his last three games, notably coming against Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool.

However, Daniel Farke needs more contributions from his other forwards, and is even scouring the market for help from elsewhere as Leeds shortlist Jens Petter Hauge of Bodo/Glimt.

Which player would you be happy for Leeds to sell in January to fund their transfer business? Let us know in the comments… 🤔💰

The likes of Joel Piroe and Willy Gnonto are struggling to force their way into Farke's plans.

Leeds United News heard that information about the Norwegian back in October, and TEAMtalk now have an update which bodes well for the 49ers.

Jens Petter Hauge ready to leave Bodo/Glimt for the Premier League as Leeds United lurk

It has now been claimed that the Bodo/Glimt No.10 is willing to leave in January with eyes on a move to the Premier League.

Leeds are once again mentioned as an interested party, although the competition is fierce with Crystal Palace, Brentford and Brighton also keen on Hauge.

Everton are also named as admirers of the 26-year-old.

Hauge – who Bodo/Glimt spent €5m (£4.4m) to bring back from Eintracht Frankfurt – has scored four goals and provided four assists in nine appearances so far this season.

Leeds United can bring a dribbler even more effective than Lamine Yamal to Yorkshire in Jens Petter Hauge

Many people would consider either Jeremy Doku or Lamine Yamal to be the best dribbler in Europe right now, although Hauge actually outdoes both in that area this season.

Squawka show that the Leeds target has registered 23 successful take-ons in the UEFA Champions League this term, which is two more than Yamal and the most of any other player in the competition.

Should Leeds follow Nottingham Forest’s path and risk a points deduction? 💸

“This summer, we spent everything we could. Unequivocally, we are maxing PSR out this season. If we had gone on to other targets [on deadline day], the consequences would have been seen in the current roster. More key players from last season would have had to go.”

With Hauge also averaging close to a goal involvement every game too, he is clearly using his dribbling skills to great effect when it comes to end product.

If the 49ers can get this deal over the line, it would be an incredibly exciting move.
