With Leeds only two points above the relegation zone, the 49ers are looking for reinforcements.
Daniel Farke has managed to secure an average of a point per game after 15 matches of this Premier League campaign, which should be enough to secure survival if the German keeps it up.
However, with a fairly thin squad – including some prone to injury like Lukas Nmecha – it would be wise of the 49ers to add a few reinforcements to give Leeds the best possible chance of staying up.
The January window is a tough one where recruiters need to consider many details, such as how quickly a player can settle, but that will be no problem for Manor Solomon if a return to Elland Road materialises.
Leeds United exploring if they can bring Manor Solomon back to Yorkshire
Sportsboom now state that Leeds are looking into a deal for the Israel international.
Do YOU want Manor Solomon back at Leeds?
Solomon shone under Farke last season, scoring ten goals and providing 12 assists in 39 appearances as Leeds won the Championship title – it was the man born in Kfar Saba who sealed the trophy with a late winner away to Plymouth.
A return to Elland Road was considered during the summer, but the BBC state that Leeds decided against a permanent move for the 26-year-old amid concerns over his injury record.
Now – however – Sportsboom believe Leeds are open to another loan deal for Solomon, who is said to be unsettled in Spain and eager to spend the second half of the season with a different club.

The Villarreal No.6 has made ten appearances so far this season across all competitions, but seven of those have come as a substitute.
Leeds are also considering Tyrique George of Chelsea – a player who Sportsboom describe as the priority for the 49ers ahead of Solomon.
What Manor Solomon has previously said about Leeds United
Solomon – who Crystal Palace looked at – made a strong impression on Leeds supporters while on loan from Tottenham last season, and his previous comments about the club have surely endeared him to the fanbase.
The Israeli called Leeds a “massive club” when arriving from Spurs in August 2024, telling the Leeds United website: “I am really happy to be here.
“I’ve heard a lot about the club, about its fans, about the heritage, the history. I know it’s a massive club in England and I’m looking forward to seeing the fans and to meet them all.”
Which former Leeds player would you have back, if you could pick one? Raphinha surely has to be up there💎
That love for Leeds remained throughout the season, as Solomon said in his farewell message: “After nearly a year without football, I couldn’t have asked for a better comeback season and a better ending.
“I really don’t know what the future holds, but I do know that Leeds United will forever be in my heart. Thank you again, fans, for the unforgettable past few weeks and all your incredible support and love throughout the entire season. WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS.”
As far as January signings go, this would be an incredibly sensible deal to do.
