Leeds United fans have reacted with delight after the club confirmed that the prodigiously talented young forward, Harry Gray, has agreed a new deal at Elland Road.
Harry Gray is the latest exciting talent to emerge from the Leeds Academy, and he made his debut for the club in the Championship last season.
The England youth international joined James Milner in an exclusive Leeds club by being named in a Premier League matchday squad before his 17th birthday earlier this season.
Despite speculation over his future, Leeds United News revealed that Gray was expected to commit his future to Leeds, having passed his 17th birthday.
Now, fans have reacted with a mixture of joy and relief as the brother of Archie Gray has signed a deal with the club.

Leeds United fans react to new deal for Harry Gray
Posting on the social media site X (formerly Twitter) shortly after Gray’s new deal was announced, fans expressed their delight that Gray had extended his time with the club.
One fan summed up the mood of the Leeds fanbase, posting: “Great news Harry, now get into that 1st team!”
There were several calls for Gray to be included in the Leeds first team, after a disappointing defeat against Burnley, as another fan added: “Now get him on the bench and give him some cameo appearances to get him going, like we did with Archie.”
This was echoed by another Leeds fan, who posted: “Great! Now get him playing for the first team and we might actually get a ball in the net.”
Harry is the latest member of the Gray sporting dynasty, and one fan was delighted to see that continue, as they wrote: “Leeds United and the Gray Family. A dynasty that’s lasted decades continues!”
Meanwhile, one fan provided the voice of reason for those calling for his inclusion in the first team, as they argued: “One for the future, but let’s not pretend he is an option now, deluded if you think he is.”
Leeds United congratulate talented forward on new contract
Speaking in the official statement announcing Gray’s new deal at Leeds, the club expressed its congratulations to the young forward.
Although the full length of the contract has not been announced, it is described as “long-term”, in a statement that reads: “Leeds United are delighted to announce Harry Gray has put pen to paper on a first professional contract with the club.
“The highly rated striker has signed a long-term deal with the Whites to keep him at Elland Road.”
Before concluding: “Everyone at Leeds United would like to congratulate Harry on signing a first professional contract and we look forward to seeing his development over the coming seasons.”
