So, after a brilliant win away at Wolves, Javi Gracia has a couple of weeks to relax as the international break kicks in before Leeds United take on Arsenal on April 1 – but which players are on international duty this week?

The Leeds players on international duty this week:

Liam Cooper – Scotland

Despite failing to feature for Leeds over the past six weeks due to injury, captain Cooper is in Scotland’s squad for fixtures against Cyprus and Spain over the next few days. The centre-back was an unused sub against Wolves.

Brenden Aaronson and Weston McKennie – USA

Both Aaronson and McKennie are in the USA squad for this break’s fixtures, while teammate and USA captain Tyler Adams remains at home as he continues to work his way back from a hamstring issue in time to face Arsenal.

Rasmus Kristensen – Denmark

A slightly strange call-up, in that Kristensen was not included initially. A lack of game time was perceived to be the reason. But, he came on at Wolves and scored within seconds – and has now been added to the Denmark squad.

Willy Gnonto – Italy

Leeds fans will get to watch Gnonto up close and personal, with the teenage wonderkid facing England with his Italy side on Thursday in Naples. It is likely, given Italy’s injuries in the final third, that in-form Gnonto will get a start.

Max Wober – Austria

Unsurprisingly, new signing Wober is in the Austria squad. Austria begin their Euro 2024 qualifying campaign with games against Kazakhstan and then Estonia, with Wober set to take his tally of Austria caps to 15 this week.

Illan Meslier – France U21’s

Despite the retirement of Hugo Lloris from France duty, Meslier has still failed to win a place in France’s senior squad. Instead, ex-Nottingham Forest man Brice Samba has joined Mike Maignan and Alphonse Areola.

Crysencio Summerville – Netherlands U21’s

There was talk that the Leeds youngster may be given a chance at senior level by Ronald Koeman. But as it goes, Summerville is with the 21’s this week – and they will take on Norway on Saturday, and Czech Republic on Monday.

Jeremiah Mullen – Scotland U21’s

Still only 18, Mullen has been promoted from U19’s with Scotland – where he has five caps – to the 21’s for the first time. It comes after impressing in Premier League 2 with Leeds’ reserves. They face Sweden, and then Wales.

Kris Klaesson – Norway U21’s

Klaesson will continue his regular place in Norway’s U21 side alongside out-on-loan defender Leo Hjelde during the break. He will come up against Crysencio Summerville on the weekend, before facing Portugal next Tuesday.

Mateo Joseph – England U20’s

Spain-born Joseph has been called-up by England’s U20 side for the first time – the first time he has represented the Three Lions at any level – after scoring a huge 15 goals in 16 Premier League 2 games. A real reward for Joseph.

Darko Gyabi and Sonny Perkins – England U19’s

Both Gyabi and Perkins, who have been on the fringes of the first team this season – with Perkins even scoring his first senior goal – will be representing the U19’s. Both players already have a handful of U19’s caps.

Diego Monteiro – Portugal U18’s

Our January recruit will be looking to add more Portugal caps to his two Under-18 appearances as his side go up against Austria on Friday, and then Georgia on Sunday.

Archie Gray – England U17’s

Gray continues to work his way back to full fitness and will be a crucial part of England’s U17 side over the course of the next few days. Gray will face Denmark on Wednesday evening, before taking on Northern Ireland on Saturday.
