Ben Parker has shared his prediction for Leeds United’s big clash with Leicester City tonight.

The Championship’s top two are set to go head-to-head under the Elland Road lights in what looks set to be the biggest game of the season so far for both sides.

Daniel Farke’s side head into the game on the back of eight league wins in a row and know a win could claw them to within just six points of the Foxes, the smallest margin since September.

If Leeds still harness any hopes of catching Leicester then three points are simply a must, and it is fair to say the Whites have the momentum going into the game.

Parker was speaking on the latest episode of the LS11 Podcast and believes a win would send out a message to the rest of the division, which is what he thinks Leeds will get.

Parker backs Leeds for three points

He said: “I just can’t wait for the game, it is one of those games, not season defining, but if we beat Leicester, it not only sends out a message to everybody, but in house they’ll think, you know what, we are the best team, we’ve proven it twice against Leicester. Go out, make it six points and what an end of the season it will be. 3-1 we will beat them.”

Leeds ran out 1-0 winners in the return fixture back at the King Power in November but Leicester will certainly be keen to get their revenge, as well as return to winning ways after last week’s defeat to Middlesbrough.

There will be some huge battles across the pitch tonight and from Leeds’ point of view, Junior Firpo’s ability to stop Leicester’s creator in chief Abdul Fatawu will be crucial.

Enzo Maresca, meanwhile, has acknowledged that Leicester will have to be wary of the threat Leeds’ front four pose on the counter-attack, as proven in the earlier meeting.

Hopefully Parker is right and Leeds can secure a 3-1 win tonight, but it is certainly going to be a very close, but entertaining game.
