Plymouth manager Ian Foster has previewed tonight’s FA Cup fourth round replay with Leeds United.
Leeds were held to a 1-1 draw by Argyle at Elland Road in the first match, in what was a highly frustrating afternoon for Daniel Farke’s side after such a dominant opening 45 minutes.
Tonight will be the first of two long trips in less than two weeks to Home Park with the two sides also in league action against one another later this month, and so they will be well aware of what to expect.
Foster was highly complementary of Leeds in the build-up to the game less than two weeks ago, and has again said some nice stuff on Farke’s side ahead of this one.
Speaking to Plymouth Live in his pre-match press conference, Foster has acknowledged there will be periods in the game where they will be under pressure, but is confident his side can come away with a win.

He said: “They are a fabulous football team, you only have to see the record they have got this season, both at home and on the road, so we know it’s going to be a tough ask, but we will have a plan.
“It’s important for us we implement our style and our way of playing on Leeds. We know there will be times in the game where we are going to find it quite difficult but hopefully we can give Leeds one or two difficult moments as we did at Elland Road.”

Farke is expected to make some changes for tonight’s match but they still head into it as favourites given the strength in depth Leeds possess over some areas of the pitch.
Plymouth will be without both Darko Gyabi and Adam Forshaw again, with the former ineligible to face his parent club, and the latter cup-tied after leaving Norwich City in January.
Hopefully Leeds can get the job done like they should have at home with the winner of the tie rewarded with a trip to either Aston Villa or Chelsea later this month.
