Leeds United defender Charlie Cresswell netted his first international goal for England U21s on Monday evening.
A clip posted by @FootballReprt on Twitter shows Cresswell heading in from a Harvey Elliott cross, from practically underneath the crossbar.
Cresswell had thought he rescued a point for the Young Lions with his goal, as he equalised with just a minute remaining after they had been 2-0 down.
However, unfortunately for Cresswell, there was another twist in the tail as Ilia Kvasnytsya netted in the 94th minute to put Ukraine U21s back in front, and move them ahead of England in Group F of their EURO qualifiers.
While obviously a proud moment to open his account for his country, Cresswell will undoubtedly be feeling gutted his goal did not mean anything in the end.

It was almost impossible for Cresswell to miss once the ball found its way to him two yards out, with Elliott’s cross from the right having bounced the whole way through the area.
Liverpool’s Elliott is well known to Leeds fans after the unfortunate injury he picked up at Elland Road just over two years ago.
That said, there is a mutual respect from both sides after Elliott thanked Whites supporters on Instagram for the reception he received when stretchered off the field.
As for Cresswell, he will have also been pleased to get a second consecutive 90 minutes under his belt during the international break.
Cresswell has played just one minute of football for Leeds since their Carabao Cup exit at the end of August, as he currently finds himself as fourth choice centre-back.
