Victor Orta now eyeing £12m-rated Leeds youngster for Sevilla

Victor Orta wants to sign Crysencio Summerville for a second time in his career, with the Spaniard keen to take the Leeds United winger to Sevilla.

That is according to a report from TEAMtalk, which notes that the Whites are unlikely to stand in the Dutchman’s way of leaving in the transfer window.

Crysencio Summerville is, unsurprisingly, one player attracting plenty of attention this summer. The 21-year-old was one of the only positives from last season. He scored four goals in four games before the World Cup. And he was often the most exciting attacking player on show for the Whites.

Sevilla and Orta eyeing Summerville

Reports from The Telegraph recently claimed that Everton and Feyenoord want the £12 million-rated Summerville. Of course, a move to De Kuip would see the winger return to his former club.

But they may not be the only side to offer Summerville something of a reunion this summer. TEAMtalk reports that Victor Orta is a big fan of the starlet and wants to sign him for Sevilla.

Orta was recently appointed as Monchi’s replacement in Andalusia. And it seems that he could look to some familiar faces in the transfer market.

Of course, losing Summerville to any club would be a real disappointment. He is someone who could potentially tear up the Championship next year. And with that, Leeds may feel that they have an outside chance of convincing him to stay.

But it would be a particular sickener if he ends up signing for Orta. The 44-year-old did not leave on the best terms with the fans. So it would not go down well if he started to pinch some of our best players for his new club.
