Leeds United are at the point of the season again where the majority of their players go away on international duty.
With Daniel Farke having had so many injury issues to contend with in the last few weeks, many may think this international break has arrived at the perfect possible time.
However, with so many of the squad flying across the world, and a Friday night match against Sheffield United to contend with when club football returns, there aren’t many who will be getting a break.
Brenden Aaronson already looks a doubt for Leeds‘ clash against the Blades due to USA being in action away at Mexico in the very early hours of Wednesday morning, giving him virtually no time to fly back and recover.
The likes of Junior Firpo and Ao Tanaka are also in action thousands of miles away on the Tuesday, and so there may well be some tired bodies by the time Leeds‘ next fixture rolls around.

Leeds appear to make Manor Solomon decision
Leeds have been without a number of key first team players in recent weeks, with Ethan Ampadu and Ilia Gruev joining fellow international stars Manor Solomon, Dan James and Max Wober on the sidelines.
Solomon has been out of action since Leeds’ 1-0 defeat to Burnley, which was the game directly after the September international break, where he played 170 of a possible 180 minutes for Israel.
Having spent the best part of the last year out injured, clearly four games in two weeks was too much for Solomon, which has seen him miss the last four.
Despite those injury issues, though, the ‘unplayable‘ Solomon was actually named by Israel in their latest squad for the upcoming Nations League matches against France and Italy.
Thankfully, however, Leeds seem to have confirmed he will not be going anywhere by not naming him on the list of players on the official club website that will be jetting off to represent their respective countries.
This certainly feels like the right decision, as not only would it have risked further injury, but Solomon’s image to Leeds supporters would’ve taken a serious hit if he had gone away after missing four successive matches.
Daniel Farke shares when Solomon could return for Leeds
There had been some hope Solomon would be fit for one of the trips to Norwich City or Sunderland last week.
Unfortunately, he could not quite recover in time to do so but these next two weeks should give him the time he needs to get himself back fully fit.
In fact, Daniel Farke is hopeful both Solomon and James will return against Sheffield United, which will finally give him some serious options off the bench.
He said: “Solomon and James will hopefully come back. Hoping Wober will be back soon. Will last a bit.”
