The last few minutes saw Leeds’ no.45 win his debut, coming on to Leeds fans singing his name, largely because of the Grays that have gone before him. Eddie Gray shed a tear in the stands as Harry ran on.

Beaming with a smile, Harry Gray will be hoping it is the first of many appearances for Leeds with two left to play against Bristol City and Plymouth. Certainly, Harry will be hopeful of coming on again for Leeds.

Archie Gray sends message to brother Harry Gray after debut

Obviously, £40m Tottenham signing Gray starred for Leeds last season as he clocked up 52 appearances and helped Leeds go close to promotion. His form earned him a move to Tottenham just over a year ago.

Still a Leeds fan having come through The Whites academy, England U21 star Archie will have watched on as Leeds demolished Stoke 6-0. Gray was even spotted in the Leeds crowd as The Whites beat Oxford.

Taking to Instagram following Harry’s debut and Leeds’ subsequent promotion to the Premier League which will see Leeds face Archie’s Spurs, Gray said: “Proud brother, not a bad day to make your debut.”

Why Harry Gray could join brother Archie at Tottenham soon

Ange Postecoglou is renowned for bringing in young players, just this season handing the likes of Will Lankshear, Lucas Bergvall, Mikey Moore, Dane Scarlett and Gray plenty of Tottenham game time.

Little surprise then given the connection between Leeds and Tottenham that has seen deals stuck for Gray, Joe Rodon and Manor Solomon, that Tottenham are interested in bringing Harry to London.

Leeds will be under no pressure to sell and the Gray family are renowned to be remarkably grounded. The chances are, The 49ers will now want to cash in but Spurs are keeping tabs on Archie’s younger brother.

For now, the youngest Gray will be hoping he can play again for Leeds before the end of the season and then focus on impressing Farke during pre-season ahead of the 2025-26 Premier League campaign.
