Next up for Leeds United is a difficult trip to Nottingham Forest on Sunday afternoon, as Daniel Farke looks to move on from Saturday’s defeat to Brighton, and Tony Pulis has predicted the winner.
Leeds come into the game after losing 3-0 against Brighton last time out. Another away defeat for Leeds, with Daniel Farke’s side now losing four of their five Premier League games away from Elland Road.
Leeds looked consigned to defeat at The Amex, and while they put on a better showing in defeats against Burnley and Fulham, Farke will know he needs a vast improvement to get anything at the City Ground.
Sean Dyche has made an impressive start to life at Forest, beating Porto in the Europa League, and his side coming from behind to draw 2-2 with Manchester United. Now, the two sides do battle on Sunday.

Tony Pulis identifies a major Leeds weakness in Forest prediction
At Elland Road, Leeds have only lost once from their opening five games, picking up two wins and two draws in the process. But away from home, Leeds have won a meagre three points from a possible 15.
Tony Pulis gave his prediction for Sunday’s trip to Forest on The Managers’ podcast, predicting a win for Forest and explaining that Leeds’ record away from home is the reason he has backed a Forest win.
“I’ve got Forest to beat Leeds,” Pulis said, ahead of Sunday’s Premier League clash at the City Ground. “I think Leeds’ away form is not brilliant, Forest under Dyche have picked up,” Pulis continued this week.
“I just think they’ll have too much for Leeds, especially with the atmosphere and everything that’s going on at Forest at the moment. They’re really behind them. That’ll be a really tough game for Leeds.”
Leeds’ record against Nottingham Forest in recent seasons
Pulis is not the only one to predict a difficult afternoon for Forest on Sunday. Opta also predict a win for Dyche and Forest, which will be the former Burnley and Everton manager’s first league win with Forest.
Forest and Leeds have a bit of a rivalry, given the connection with Brian Clough. Jesse Marsch was sacked after a 1-0 defeat to Forest in February 2023. However, Leeds secured a win the last time the two met.
