Leeds United may have to reinforce the goalkeeping position this summer, with Illan Meslier linked with a move and Joel Robles released but invited back for pre-season training – so here are three players Leeds could land on a free.
Three goalkeepers Leeds could sign on a free transfer:
Arnau Tenas (Barcelona)
Tenas, 22, is set to leave Barcelona on a free this summer, having failed to make a senior debut for the club he has been with since a child. But, Tenas is captain of Barcelona’s B-team, and boasts seven Spain Under-21 caps.

He is clearly rated highly at Barca, too. He has been on Xavi’s bench in 53 of the senior side’s games this season, with Tenas the club’s third-choice keeper. But he needs to join a side to play regularly – Leeds could be perfect.
Maxime Dupe (Toulouse)
Dupe is much more proven at the age of 27, and was a regular for Ligue 1 side Toulouse last season. He played all 38 games for Toulouse in the League, conceding 57 but keeping nine clean sheets. He is now available on a free.
He is also a leader, captaining his side in five of their last seven Ligue 1 games but after three years at the club, he is set to move on. If Leeds can convince him to join a Championship club, with a view to promotion, then we should.
Asmir Begovic (Everton)

Begovic is much elder than the previous two suggestions at 36. But the ex-Chelsea, Bournemouth and Portsmouth stopper is set to leave Everton – and his wealth of experience could aid Leeds in our fight for an instant return.
The Telegraph say Luton have held talks to land the Bosnian stopper and a move looks likely. But if Leeds prefer some experience between the sticks, then Begovic would be perfect. We would have to move quickly, however.
