Joe Rodon and Crysencio Summerville have heaped praise on Archie Gray after the Leeds United talent starred for the Whites during Saturday’s 3-2 win over Middlesbrough, reacting on Instagram.
The 17-year-old clocked up his 24th outing of the season on Saturday. He’s played 20 times for Leeds, and another four in an England shirt, three for the U19’s, and another one for the Elite England Squad.
Gray is currently playing on the right of defence with Glen Kamara shining in midfield alongside Ethan Ampadu. Djed Spence is fit, with Gray keeping Luke Ayling out of the side and indeed, entire squad.
Maybe, with the return of Spence, Gray produced a wonderful display on Saturday. He was impeccable on the right as Leeds secured a home win, a 3-2 victory over Michael Carrick’s Boro at Elland Road.
Gray took to Instagram after the win, underlining his delight at helping Leeds secure all three points. Leeds remain seven points beihnd second-placed Ipswich Town, and eight behind leaders Leicester.

Gray has been sensational for Leeds. A brilliant performance again from the youngster. We have to keep reminding ourselves that he is still 17, and will remain 17 until March of next year. Quite incredible.
What Leeds must do, is have a contract prepared for Gray – the second he turns 18. Leeds cannot offer Gray a long-term deal until his 18th birthday. Premier League clubs are becoming interested in Gray.
So, tying his future down at Elland Road is of utmost importance. Indeed, Gray is not only impressing fans but also his teammates. On Saturday, Tottenham star Rodon and on-fire Summerville praised him.
