Jack Harrison could be among the players to leave Leeds United on loan this summer.
That is according to talkSPORT journalist Alex Crook, who was speaking live on air on Monday 24 July, where he claimed Harrison could depart temporarily before the end of the window.
Leeds have already lost five first team players on loan so far this summer with Robin Koch, Diego Llorente, Brenden Aaronson, Marc Roca and Rasmus Kristensen all having moved on.
And the loan exits are not expected to stop there anytime soon with Max Wober closing in on a deal to join Borussia Monchengladbach, despite having reportedly expressed his desire to stay.
Leeds will only be able to sanction one more international loan exit this summer for non-club trained players over the age of 21, but that will not stop domestic deals.
Crook expects Harrison to leave Leeds on loan this summer
Harrison put pen-to-paper on a new five-year deal at Elland Road in April that is said to include a relegation release clause.
However, at this stage it is unclear whether that is for a loan or permanent transfer, though Crook has claimed he expects him to depart temporarily.
Harrison’s ability to secure a transfer this summer has been somewhat hampered by the hip injury he is currently recovering from, that is expected to keep him out until after the September international break.
Clubs have so far been reluctant to sign a player who could be on the treatment table for another two months, while Harrison is also some Leeds want to keep, with Tony Cascarino having described him as ‘terrific’ last season.
Losing Harrison loan this summer would be disastrous, particularly when you consider he is one of few players in this Leeds squad who could generate significant transfer funds.
