Leeds United completed four new signings in a busy final week of the window.

Right-back Djed Spence was the first through the door as he joined on a season-long-loan deal from Tottenham Hotspur, in what is a significant coup at this level.

Leeds then switched their attention towards strengthening in midfield with Werder Bremen’s Ilia Gruev then putting pen-to-paper on a four-year-deal for a fee in the region of £5 million.

Glen Kamara then finally followed Gruev just hours later from Rangers, bringing an end to the longest running saga of the summer.

It had looked as though it would be a quiet deadline day until Leeds sanctioned a loan move for Luis Sinisterra to join Bournemouth, with Jaidon Anthony coming the other way on a season-long-loan.

Leeds never actually confirmed what squad numbers any of them would be wearing upon their respective announcements.

However, supporters are now able to purchase this season’s shirts with their names and numbers on the back, where they have revealed what three of them will be wearing.

Right-back Spence has been handed the number 39, which was most recently worn by Max Wober, who left on loan for Borussia Monchengladbach.

Gruev, meanwhile will don the number 44 that has not been held since youngster Mateusz Bogusz in 2021, with Kamara having taken the eight shirt from the recently departed Marc Roca.

Given the time in which Anthony arrived from Bournemouth last night, it has not yet been confirmed what he will wear.

The most likely appears to be either number 11 that was relinquished by Jack Harrison, or the number 32, which is what he had at Bournemouth.
