Simon Jordan has taken to Twitter to react to the news that Leeds United have parted company with Jesse Marsch, and claimed that the Whites have come to their senses with the decision.

The writing appeared to be on the wall following the loss to Nottingham Forest on Sunday. Leeds find themselves within touching distance of the relegation zone. And the same mistakes seem to be being made time and time again.

The reaction amongst Leeds fans appears to be that the club have made the right call. And Jordan certainly believes that the decision was the correct one.

Here is what he has now posted on Twitter…

There is an argument that Marsch would have gone sooner if he was not such a decent bloke. He was given breathing space last season because the priority was staying in the Premier League.

But we have not kicked on this season. There have been amazing highs. The 3-0 win over Chelsea and the dramatic victory at Liverpool hinted that brighter times lay ahead. However, Leeds cost themselves too often this season.

And it did seem that relegation may be on the cards if a change was not made.

The good news, for all parties, is that the change came before the situation turned anymore toxic.
