Italian outlet TuttoSport claim that Torino left-back Ola Aina is keen on a move to the Premier League and Leeds are interested. The London-born Nigeria international is out of contract at his current club at the end of the season.
Aina, 26, joined Torino in 2019 and has enjoyed a decent-enough spell. Only playing six times for Chelsea having broken into the Blues senior side, he was sold to the Italian club. He has since clocked up 103 appearances for Torino.
A 29-time Nigeria international, Aina is now out of contract at the end of the season. Torino are keen to try and tie him down on a new deal, and keep him at the club beyond the end of his current deal. But he wants a return to England.
Leeds of course, could do with a left-back. Junior Firpo has not done enough at Elland Road since joining the club from Barcelona in 2021, with Pascal Struijk – naturally a centre-back – operating on the left side of the Leeds defence.

The latest report states that a move to Leeds is a distinct possibility. Whether Leeds will pay cash for Aina in January and get him on the cheap, or try to sign him on a free – remains to be seen. They can approach him from January 1.
Aina keen on move to Premier League and Leeds are interested
Leeds need a left-back – but is Aina the answer? Is he Premier League standard and is he an improvement on Firpo and Struijk? This season, he has played 11 times when fit – starting eight times, completing 90 minutes on four occasions.
He is struggling to make the left-back slot his own at Torino. So, what chance would he have at Elland Road? Aina has been regularly linked with Leeds so clearly, Victor Orta is an admirer. But there are surely better options on the market.
