Leeds United are considering Carlos Carvalhal as they continue their search for their next manager.
That is according to a surprise report from The Sun on Sunday (4/6; page 60), which suggests that the 57-year-old is on the radar along with Carlos Corberan and others.
It has now been a week since Leeds were relegated from the Premier League. And unfortunately, it does appear that there is little more clarity on some of the major issues Leeds must address before the new season.

There have been various links with a number of managers already. But a new name seems to have emerged. And it is probably not one supporters will be particularly happy about.
The Sun on Sunday (4/6; page 60) reports that Leeds are considering Carvalhal.
The Portuguese is currently working in La Liga with Celta Vigo. They go into the final day one point above the bottom three. And they host Barcelona in their final game.
Carvalhal is probably best known to Leeds fans for his time at Sheffield Wednesday. He managed the Owls for 131 games before his departure in 2017.
He did lead Wednesday to the play-off final, where they were beaten by Hull. But any hopes of leading the side back to the Premier League were largely dashed by the financial constraints the club subsequently worked with.
What is particularly worrying is that Carvalhal has had 21 managerial stints in 25 years in the dug-out. In fact, his time with Wednesday was his longest spell with any one club.
That hardly suggests that Carvalhal would be the right man to take Leeds forward in the long-term. And with that, Whites fans will be hoping that little comes of these links with the Celta boss.
