Leeds Live claim Leeds United chairman Andrea Radrizzani was on the Tottenham pitch talking to Spurs director of football Fabio Paratici before Saturday’s clash – which saw Spurs emerge as 4-3 victors in an enthralling clash.
Crysencio Summerville and a brace for Rodrigo – who now has nine goals this season – was not enough. A late Rodrigo Bentancur brace saw Spurs claim victory. That, after Harry Kane and Ben Davies got their names on the score sheet.
It was a case of where both clubs are. Leeds, excellent going forward but when the press is beaten, the defence is culpable to making mistakes. For Spurs, a poor first half but much-improved in the second 45. Bentancur saved Spurs.
With this being the penultimate round of Premier League fixtures before the January window opens, transfers are likely to be high on the agenda. It might have been the subject of conversation, with Paratici seen talking to Radrizzani.
“Leeds United’s chairman Andrea Radrizzani was pitchside once again for a Whites game. Before the match, the Italian was seen chatting with his compatriot, and Tottenham Hotspur managing director, Fabio Paratici,” Beren Cross reports.

The likelihood is that given the two are of Italian descent, they were simply catching up. However, the January window is on the horizon. Spurs are likely to want to sell some players in order to buy. Leeds need strengthening, too.
We need another no.9, with Patrick Bamford injured. Better quality at the heart of the defence, but that is an issue that could be solved by signing a left-back and pushing Pascal Struijk into the middle. Something we feel he deserves.
Do Tottenham have such options that Leeds could exploit? Simply, no. Spurs need a striker themselves to act as cover for Kane. At left-back, they have Ryan Sessegnon and Ivan Perisic, both of whom are regulars in Antonio Conte’s side.
