A report from Italian outlet AS Roma Live claim that Leeds United, West Ham, Aston Villa and Brighton are all in the mix to sign Lens defender Facundo Medina – with the Argentina international rated in the region of £26.5m and £31m.
Medina, 23, has made his name in France since joining Lens from Argentine side Talleres. In his two and a half years in France, he has clocked up 86 appearances for Lens, playing on the left side of a back three. He has scored six goals.
Indeed, the defender has been a part of a Lens side that have finished seventh in the past two seasons. This season, he has been a crucial in pushing Lens to a lofty third place in the top tier of French football. Medina has been excellent.
That form saw Roma show interest in January, while a Premier League club saw an offer rejected – as per AS Roma Live. Ahead of the summer, the report states Roma remain keen. But Leeds, West Ham, Villa and Brighton are also keen.

The report states that interest from England has seen Lens bump up his asking price. Given he is young, a player with senior Argentina caps and given he is a left-footed centre-back – he is rated at a huge fee between £26.5m and £31m.
Leeds, Villa, Brighton and West Ham in mix to sign Lens defender Medina
Medina is clearly a player with huge talent. Lens are starting to show the world that they are not just a mid-table team, looking to secure mid-table obscurity in Ligue 1. But a side that have real power behind them to push for Europe.
Excellent work in the transfer window has seriously helped Lens. Such as, the signing of Medina. A player that has only played 37 times at senior level before moving to France. Bought for just £3m, Lens are about to secure a massive profit.
