Leeds United midfielder Tyler Adams is already said to be the subject of interest from Inter Milan ahead of the January window after his World Cup exploits – and now, Inter’s Serie A rivals Fiorentina are supposedly showing interest in him.
Italian outlet La Nazione report that Fiorentina chief Nicolas Burdisso is keen on signing Adams. The Italian club could be in danger of losing Morocco’s World Cup hero Sofyan Amrabat in the next window – and may need a replacement.
It comes after Gazzetta Dello Sport said that USA skipper Adams was on Inter’s shortlist ahead of the January window. But of course, Leeds are in the driving seat when it comes to Adams’ future. He has a contract at Leeds until June 2027.
Indeed, it seems Adams is expected to remain at Leeds – at least, for January. But it is testament to the midfielder’s form that he is generating interest in his services. Whether Leeds can keep him for a long time remains to be seen.

So, there is scope for Leeds to offer him improved terms. Players such as Luis Sinisterra, Patrick Bamford and Rodrigo are all earning more than the USA man. Handing him a bigger wage would tempt Adams to remains at Leeds longer.
Not only that, but it would see Leeds extend his stay. In turn, strengthening their positioning when it comes to the negotiating table. What the stance of Adams is regarding interest specifically from a club like Inter, remains to be seen.
