Kris Moore is a name that even the most die-hard of Leeds United supporters might not have heard before. But the centre-back is quickly earning rave reviews in Leeds training and has enjoyed an excellent pre-season. Now, a report claims he is in first-team training ahead of Saturday.
Last season, Mark Jackson combined Charlie Cresswell and Olly Casey at centre-back and the duo were excellent together. They gave the Under-23’s the basis to go on and gain promotion from Premier League 2’s second tier – to the top division. But Casey has completed a move to Blackpool.

He needs replacing and it looks as if 17-year-old Moore will be the man to come in – allowing Nohan Kenneh to remain in midfield. Moore only played four times for the 23’s last season, three of which came in Premier League 2. This summer, he has featured regularly – even facing Ajax in the U23 game.
We, at LUN, even rated Moore as one of four players to get an 8/10 in the first of two Ajax matches. Now, Moore is perhaps a surprise inclusion in senior training ahead of Saturday’s clash against Manchester United – as per LUFC Youth Academy’s Twitter. He is, of course, unlikely to be involved.
