Raphinha, 24, has been impeccable for Leeds since joining the club from Rennes last summer. Completing a deadline-day move out of nowhere for around £17million, the Brazilian ace had a hand in 15 goals during 30 Premier League outings. Six goals was only bettered by his nine assists.

The wide man, who was recently called-up by Brazil, played alongside Manchester United star Fernandes at Sporting Lisbon. The Portuguese talent is described by Raphinha as his “older brother”, during an interview with the Player’s Tribune in which Raphinha speaks candidly.
He explains how Fernandes has always advised him throughout his career – and that the Manchester United playmaker sent him a text while he flew in. Leeds ace Raphinha says Fernandes told him he would suit the Premier League. For once, we agree with a player from Old Trafford.
“Bruno has helped me so much, man. In Portugal we would talk a lot and go out for meals. When I went to Rennes, he advised me. The guy is so clever. When I was on the plane to Leeds, he texted me saying my style would fit the league. He was right again,” Raphinha told the Player’s Tribune.
