Predicting the remaining nine Leeds United games, 19 from 27
Millwall (H) – Win
Millwall picked up a late win over Birmingham last time out – but Leeds cruised past the London side away from home in the reverse fixture, winning 3-0. At home, Leeds will have too much for Millwall.
Watford (A) – Win
Just one win in 12 saw Valerian Ismael sacked last week. Watford go to Birmingham City next time out and could pick up a result, but even with home advantage – you’d imagine Leeds would pick up a win.
Hull (H) – Draw
Hull have defied expectation this season, starring under the impressive Liam Rosenior. They remain well in the hunt for the play-offs and with the signing of Fabio Carvalho, Hull could prove tricky for Leeds.
Coventry (A) – Draw
Mark Robins is one of the most-underrated managers in the Championship. Taking his Coventry side to the play-offs last season. Coventry are also in with a shout of the play-offs, a draw is a very solid result.
Sunderland (H) – Win
Michael Beale has left Sunderland and the Black Cats are reeling after the loss of Jack Clarke – a target for Leeds – to injury. At Elland Road, Leeds will have too much power for The Black Cats to secure a win.
Blackburn (H) – Win
Blackburn’s run of form is woeful. Just one League win in 2024, that came at the beginning of February. The loss of Adam Wharton has hit Rovers, and again at Elland Road, Leeds should cruise to a victory.
Middlesbrough (A) – Draw
Boro have the ability to beat the best, but lose to the worst. Luke Ayling and Sam Greenwood won’t be available for this one – but they will still have enough to secure a point against Leeds on Teesside.
QPR (A) – Win
A side that are currently improving under Marti Cifuentes, but still miles off the likes of Leeds. Yes, they did beat Leicester recently, but that is deemed more of a fluke than a sign of their quality. Away win.
Southampton (H) – Draw
By this time, with 18 points from the last eight Championship matches – you would imagine Leeds will have secured a place in the top two, sitting on 97 points. Hopefully, we can play with freedom. Draw.
