Basketball star Larry Nance Jr. has hinted he is one of a number of members involved in the 49ers Enterprises by Tweeting a picture of himself taking a photo inside Elland Road – as Leeds United close in on a takeover this week.

The Mail reported on Monday evening that after successful talks between the 49ers Enterprises and current owner Andrea Radrizzani, a deal is expected to go through this week. Radrizzani has of course taken over Sampdoria.

Nance Jr., 30, is a member of the New Orleans Pelican side but now also rumoured to be part of the 49ers, with some suggestions on Twitter claiming the Enterprises could comprise of 60 members. A deal is said to be done.

The Mail followed up their initial story by reporting on Tuesday that a deal is completed, and those that are a part of the 49ers Enterprises are now undergoing a Owners and Directors Test with the EFL. All 60 will have to be checked.

But Nance Jr. has teased Leeds fans on social media. The YEP claim that he has made a donation of £2,500 to the fundraising organisation overseeing the Gary Speed walk. He has replied to a Leeds fan with a photo at Elland Road.

The two most well-known members of the 49ers are Paraag Marathe, who has been seen plenty of times in Leeds circles and is the chairman of the 49ers Enterprises – as well as Australian Peter Lowry, a billionaire Leeds fan.

Now, it is quite clear that Nance Jr. is somehow involved following his donation and his picture of himself, taking a photo at Elland Road. The rumours are that a takeover is getting closer and closer and it should be done very soon.
