Leeds United duo Luis Sinisterra and Junior Firpo have been pictured taking in Novak Djokovic’s win in the Monte Carlo Masters on Tuesday – less than 48 hours after Leeds they started in our crushing 5-1 defeat to Crystal Palace.

Both players started on the left flank on Sunday afternoon as Leeds took the lead against Palace – only to suffer a heavy loss to Roy Hodgson’s rejuvenated side. Palace now have secured two wins in a row and look good to survive.

We had been hopeful of two wins in a row ourselves. Things look good for the first 40 minutes, with Patrick Bamford scoring his 50th goal for Leeds and Javi Gracia’s men looking comfortable. But the second 45 saw Leeds capitulate.

A loss that leaves Leeds 16th in the Premier League table, just two points above the drop zone and with Liverpool up next. Worrying. Nevertheless, it seems that Gracia has given some of his players some time off to relax and unwind.

Not a good look, though, that in the midst of a relegation scrap when fans would be hoping the players are working hard to put things right next time out – that Sinisterra and Firpo are in Monte Carlo. An image appeared on Twitter.

Djokovic won the Round of 32 tie with consummate ease in the three-set match, beating Russian opponent Ivan Gakhov 6-2, and then after a tie break. The tie, broadcasted by Amazon Prime, saw Djokovic cruise to a victory.

Leeds are likely to be back in training on Wednesday ahead of Monday night’s clash against Liverpool. It is unclear if Max Wober will be fit again, while Willy Gnonto is back. There are doubts emerging over Patrick Bamford’s fitness.
