Leeds United attacker Sonny Perkins is set to join Oxford United on a season-long-loan.
That is according to Phil Hay of the Athletic, who reports Perkins is on the verge of making the move to the League One club with game time expected to come at a premium at Leeds.
Perkins came off the bench in stoppage time of Leeds‘ opening day draw with Cardiff City but has not been involved since.

The 19-year-old joined from West Ham United last summer but has struggled to force his way into first team reckoning, despite netting an equaliser at Cardiff City in the FA Cup in January.
In total, he has made four appearances for the Whites though game time was always likely going to be hard to come by this season even after relegation.
Perkins set to leave Leeds for Oxford on loan
Perkins can play both as a centre forward or in the three positions behind the striker and will be a great addition for Oxford.
Oxford are expected to be among the sides pushing for promotion from League One this season and Perkins should offer them an extra bit of quality.

Perkins was prolific at U21s level for Leeds last term as he played a key role in helping Michael Skubala’s side sealed promotion from PL2 Division 2.
However, with so many players ahead of him in the pecking order in West Yorkshire, Leeds have taken the decision to send him out on loan for his first prolonged taste of senior football.
With his contract set to expire in two years’ time, this loan spell could well be make or break for him in terms of making it at Leeds.
