Rasmus Kristensen has endured a difficult start to life at Roma but on Sunday, he produced his best display since joining the Italians on loan from Leeds United – and Forza Roma gave him a 7/10 rating.
Kristensen, 25, struggled in his first display in a 2-2 draw with Salernitana. His second, saw him hooked at half time in a 2-1 loss to Verona. Then, he was dropped from the starting XI in another loss, to Milan.
Then, it was reported he had been left out of Roma’s Europa League squad. With Roma in action on Thursday this week in Europe – Kristensen started on Sunday. A home clash, against struggling Empoli.

Finally, Roma got the ball rolling this season. They cruised to a huge 7-0 win. Kristensen was key in opening the scoring, his cross winning a penalty. Paulo Dybala did the rest, scoring with aplomb.
Then, Kristensen chipped a cross into the box for Renatos Sanches. An own goal, a second for Dybala, a worldie for Bryan Cristante, a first for Romelu Lukaku and then Gianluca Mancini rounded off a 7-0 win.

“First ball and a penalty. Second ball, the perfect assist for Sanches. He failed at first, but proves he has the right cards to make up for absence of crossers. Ensures tranquility on the right,” Forza Roma said.

Kristensen enjoys best display for Roma on loan from Leeds
It will do him the world of good. One official assist and pretty much, two goals created. The Dane was written off inside the first fortnight of his Roma loan but he was hardly given the chance to settle, adapt.
