Simon Jordan has lambasted the Leeds United board in their pursuit of a new manager to replace Jesse Marsch during his analysis on TalkSPORT– as per Leeds Live. He says the impression he is being given, is it is a bit all over the place.
Marsch, 49, was sacked last Monday – nine days ago. Surprisingly, it looks as though American boss Marsch will land himself a new Premier League job before Leeds find themselves a manager – joining fellow strugglers Southampton.
Since Leeds sacked Marsch, Leeds have seen approaches for Andoni Iraola, Raul, Arne Slot, Carlos Corberan, Marcelo Gallardo and Ange Postecoglou fail. Since, Nuno Espirito Santo, Steven Gerrard and Tata Martino have been linked.
Jordan was discussing the pursuit of a new manager at Elland Road. The pundit says that while he knows he will be angering Leeds fans, he claims the impression he has been given that it is a big of a “dog’s dinner” at Elland Road.
“I get the impression – and I know Leeds fans are not going to like this – that it’s a bit of a dog’s dinner over at Leeds behind the scenes, in terms of who is doing what, when, how and why,” Jordan told TalkSPORT, as per Leeds Live.
“You’ve got an owner exiting the door with potential sales of players that possibly the new incoming owners don’t want them to sell. I think there’s a lot of left-hand and right-hand stuff going on over there,” Jordan continued.

It looks as if Skubala will almost certainly be in charge for matches against Everton and then Southampton. A match in which Leeds will face Marsch’s potential new side. An incredible turn of events. Is it the right decision to keep Skubala?
Time will tell. But what it does do is give the Leeds board time and probably, wins a bit more patience from fans. At least now, we as fans know that Skubala is going to be in charge for the next couple of games at least.
