Netherlands manager Ronald Koeman has been urged to consider calling up Leeds United magician Crysencio Summerville ahead of the November break, by Voetbal International’s Suleyman Ozturk.
It has been a wonderful start to the campaign by 22-year-old Summerville, who boasts six goals and four assists in his 11 Championship matches. Four of those 10 goal involvements came on Saturday.
Summerville has been in wonderful form, despite even playing with a shoulder injury – and having picked up a knock on the opening day against Cardiff. He, Georginio Rutter and Joel Piroe are in superb form.
Summerville has never been called up for the senior Netherlands squad and the chances are, Koeman does overlook Summerville given he is playing in the Championship. But, his form could be tempting.

Indeed, Voetbal International reporter Ozturk has been quoted by SoccerNews.nl as saying that if Koeman understands football – then he should call Summerville up, urging the manager to choose him.
“He is eligible for the Dutch team. Bring him on for half hour, when the spaces are larger and you have to force something against Italy or France. If Koeman takes football seriously, he will put him on the list.”
Ronald Koeman urged to pick Leeds man Crysencio Summerville
If Summerville got picked despite playing in the Championship it would be a huge compliment to the way he is playing, but for us Leeds fans, it would hardly come as a surprise. He has been exceptional.
Summerville continues to make things happen, changing games and when given the chance in the final third, he has been absolutely lethal. Crucial goals, as well as enjoying himself in opposing penalty areas.
The Netherlands have a pretty easy international break coming up. Gibraltar, and Ireland. Two games in which they should go and win pretty comfortably. Perhaps, the ideal chance to give Summerville, a go.
