Wales picked up a crucial win in their European Qualifying match against Croatia and Leeds midfielder Ethan Ampadu put in a top performance which was key to his country getting the three points on the night.
Wales beat Croatia 2-1, with Harry Wilson scoring both the goals. Leeds star Ethan Ampadu put in a strong performance in midfield and Daniel Farke will be over the moon with what he saw.
The 23 year-old, who Leeds signed this summer from Premier League side Chelsea, has already been key in the Championship.
Performances like the one he managed for Wales emphasise that he is so important to helping Leeds get promoted this season.

Leeds star Ethan Ampadu puts in huge performance in Wales win
Ampadu started the huge game for Wales in which second faced third in their qualifying group. With only first and second qualifying for the 2024 European Championships, it was massively important that Wales picked up the win.
They managed to do exactly that and Ampadu put in a top defensive performance. Ampadu managed four tackles and two interceptions. This saw him rank first in both of these stats in the Wales squad.
He also managed four clearances and picked up a 6.88 rating, per WhoScored, which was the fifth-best in the Welsh lineup.
No doubt his defensive attributes are what makes him such a good player and if he can continue to produce performances for Leeds like he did for Wales then he will be key this season.

He has already played every minute under Farke this season and he will play a massive role in trying to get Leeds promoted this season.
Performances like the one last night for Wales will have Leeds buzzing with the summer signing and also happy that they signed the ‘leader‘ on a permanent deal.
