Millwall are reportedly in talks to sign Joe Bryan on a free transfer with the left-back looking for a new home after leaving Fulham, following a loan spell at Nice – and Leeds have got to reignite 2018 interest and consider a late offer.
Bryan is about to leave Fulham after a five-year spell with the club. It comes after joining Fulham from Bristol City, where he had 50 goals and assists from left-back in 230 games. He has 199 Championship outings to his name.
Telegraph reporter John Percy reported on Monday that Millwall are in talks to land Bryan. It comes after earlier reports that Bryan had rejected a return to Bristol City – as he was awaiting offers that would see him stay in Europe.

But, that seems to have subsided and Millwall are keen to keep Bryan situation in Fulham. But, with Leeds likely to be in the market for a left-back, the 49ers have got to consider the pocket-sized lefty. We wanted Bryan in 2018.
Bristol Live reported in Marcelo Bielsa’s first summer that Leeds were ‘very interested’ in Bryan. But, he joined his current side Fulham for £6m in 2018. Now, Leeds have the chance to land the previous Bielsa target on a free.
Millwall in Joe Bryan talks, Leeds should reignite 2018 interest in lefty
Leeds need a number of new signings, in a number of areas. In goal – Illan Meslier and Joel Robles could go. In midfield, Marc Roca, Weston McKennie, Adam Forshaw and Tyler Adams could all leave, after forming our midfield.

Luis Sinisterra, Jack Harrison, Willy Gnonto and Cree Summerville could all leave; we need wingers. On the left of the defence, Firpo will go. Behind him, Leeds lack a recognised left-back. Pascal Struijk is more of a centre-back.
On a free, Bryan is a smart signing. Excellent in attack, superb technically and a player with enormous experience at Championship level – including helping Fulham gain promotion, twice. On a free, Leeds must hijack Millwall’s move.
