Mateusz Klich, Willfried Gnonto and Kalvin Phillips are among a host of players who responded to Stuart Dallas’ return to Leeds United training.
Dallas posted a selection of photos on his Instagram with the caption, ‘All in good time’, as he makes his biggest step yet towards a return to competitive action.
The 32-year-old has been out of action since April 2022 when he fractured his femur in a 4-0 defeat to Manchester City in the Premier League.
The last 18 months will clearly have been a long struggle of working hard to get fit again and setbacks, but this latest step is the biggest on his path to recovery yet.
Dallas has remained a huge character around the club even in his absence from the pitch, and that is clearly reflected in the amount of messages he has received.

Gnonto, Klich, Phillips and a whole host of other past and present teammates have taken to his Instagram to express their happiness at Dallas’ return.
Luke Ayling and Jack Harrison are also among them, though it really does not stop there, which shows just how hard felt his absence has been.
Dallas will still be a significant number of weeks away from returning to competitive action given how long he has spent on the sidelines.
However, what his return could do is provide a real boost around Thorp Arch in terms of morale, which could improve Leeds‘ confidence on the pitch.
It is important Dallas is given time to really get back to full fitness, and there still may be a setback or two along the way, but that doesn’t take away what a huge sight it is to see him back.
