A question mark surrounding Mateo Joseph’s form for Leeds United this season has been his ability to put the ball in the back of the net but with Spain’s Under-21 side, that has not been an issue.

Joseph is finally being given a proper run in the side after a few substitute appearances and the odd start in the Cup last season by Daniel Farke. But having starred in pre-season, he has only scored two goals.

Joel Piroe has started less games for Leeds and has six goals a third of the way through the campaign. Joseph has only netted against Hull and Sheffield United, though the striker has laid on three assists too.
