Marc Roca has said to BBC Radio Leeds that his relationship with Tyler Adams is amazing as he lauded his Leeds United teammate for making his life easier out on the pitch.
Victor Orta deserves enormous praise for putting Roca and Adams together in the summer. There were huge concerns when Leeds fans started to fear that Kalvin Phillips was on the way out of the club.

Phillips had not thrived under Jesse Marsch. But late last season was not about performances. And he had been the fulcrum of the side during Marcelo Bielsa’s tenure.

But Leeds have been able to not miss Phillips too much in the months since his exit. Of course, we would have loved nothing more than to have the Yorkshire Pirlo pull the strings for a while longer. But the performances of Roca and Adams have been a joy to watch so far.

Both men have had their bright moments since their summer moves. Adams has seemingly covered every blade of grass along the way. Meanwhile, Roca appears to have an ability on the ball which may be unmatched amongst the Leeds squad.
The partnership has been so impressive. And Roca suggested that he loves playing alongside the USMNT international.
“Our relationship is amazing,” he told BBC Radio Leeds. “We feel very comfortable to play together. I think we are a good combo. He makes it easier for me to play.
“I think he feels as well comfortable with me. And we are doing our best because we want to help the team. And I think it’s very good.”
If Adams and Roca stay fit for the large majority of the season, Leeds will surely be in a very strong position. Obviously, results have been poor of late. But the pairing give the side so much balance.
Jesse Marsch may be worried about what will happen if either is sidelined at any stage. Leeds do not appear to have huge depth in the middle of the park.
So it is perhaps as important as keeping Patrick Bamford fit that Roca and Adams stay available over the months ahead.
