Luke Ayling has hilariously replied to Robbie Keane on Leeds United’s Instagram post after attempting to cope the Irishman’s iconic goal celebration – after the right-back scored our second in a 4-2 win over Wolves on Saturday.

Ironically, Ayling did exactly the same thing last year. Scoring one of only three Premier League goals at Wolves to win 3-2 away from home last season, he attempted Keane’s celebration. On Saturday, he put Leeds 2-0 up.

Doubling our advantage after Jack Harrison’s opener, Ayling wheeled away in delight. Attempting a cartwheel that left the Leeds star in a heap on the floor, he then almost kicked Willy Gnonto in the face doing a forward role.

Leeds went on to win the game 4-2, with Harrison, Rasmus Kristensen and Rodrigo also scoring goals. A video of his celebrations last season, and on Saturday, were posted on Instagram side by side by the official Leeds account.

As stated, only his third Premier League goal since Leeds gained promotion to the Premier League. Clearly, under Javi Gracia, the full-backs are going to get plenty of chances. Ayling blazed a glorious chance against Brighton.

Junior Firpo cut in from the left flank to score the only goal against Southampton. The Spanish manager is getting goals from all areas of the pitch and that is crucial in the fight to avoid relegation come the end of the season.

The feel-good factor is back at Leeds with Gracia securing seven points from a possible 12, since he took over. Two wins, a draw and a narrow loss to Chelsea is excellent work, heading into the international break – ahead of Arsenal.

Ex-Leeds striker Keane, who also played for Wolves, responded to the Leeds post by commenting two clapping emojis. Ayling replied hilariously, saying he hopes he will have improved his celebration by next year’s trip to Wolves.
