Georginio Rutter scored the only goal of the game from close range as Leeds United secured a 1-0 win over Leicester City on Friday – and Luciano Becchio responded, with a message on Instagram.
Rutter, 21, got his third goal of the season on Friday in what was a huge win at the King Power. Leeds inflicted Leicester’s second defeat of the season, only the second time they have not won in 15 games.
A brilliant win that saw Leeds close the gap on the top two. The difference is now just six points, with Ipswich travelling to Birmingham City on Saturday. Wayne Rooney’s side have lost three games in a row.
So, a massive win for Leeds. Huge. The reaction of the players, the emotion of Daniel Farke, the party among the fans at the end of the game shows just how big a result it was. Rutter, at the centre of it all.
