Liverpool are among a host of Premier League clubs also monitoring Leeds United’s Tyler Adams as he closes in on a move to Chelsea.
According to 90min.com, Liverpool, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Brighton and Brentford are all keeping an eye on his situation before the end of the window.
Despite that, Adams looks set for a move to Chelsea with Mauricio Pochettino’s side expected to make an offer in the coming days for the USMNT captain.
Adams has a release clause in the region of £20 million and according to Sky Sports, Chelsea are mulling over whether to activate it, or negotiate a structured deal.
The Blues will have to move fast, though, with several other Premier League teams interested in hijacking their pursuit, four of which can offer European football unlike Chelsea.

Liverpool are in need of a new holding midfielder before the end of the window with Fabinho and Jordan Henderson both having moved to Saudi Arabia.
Their pursuit of Southampton’s Romeo Lavia has been well documented but are so far yet to agree a deal having seen a third offer rejected on Monday.
Should they opt against paying Southampton’s asking price, then Adams may come into their thinking as an alternative.
However, Liverpool are in need of a player ready to make an instant impact, which Adams will not be able to do as he continues his recovery from a long-term hamstring injury.
Despite Liverpool’s interest, it is feeling more and more likely he will make the move to Stamford Bridge instead.
