Liam Cooper has responded in a video published on Leeds United’s Twitter that Stuart Dallas is his favourite teammate – claiming he would do anything for him, and it is a bromance his life “needed”.
Dallas, 32, is yet to play for Leeds since he broke the bottom of his femur back in April 2022 against Manchester City during a clash with Jack Grealish. He has returned at long last, to senior training.
The Northern Irishman is one of the core Leeds players that helped the club gain promotion to the Premier League in 2019-20 – alongside the likes of Cooper, Luke Ayling and striker Patrick Bamford.
His return will be enormous for Leeds and hopefully, we will see Dallas back in action sooner rather than later. Cooper said that the ex-Brentford man, who cost us just £1.3m, is his favourite Leeds teammate.

“My favourite teammate will have to be the best man at my wedding, Stuart Dallas my pal. Good pals for a long time. Beautiful person, beautiful family. We’ve lived the best moments of our careers together.
“He’d do anything for me and I’d do anything for him. A bromance that I needed in my life,” Cooper said this week in a video published on Leeds’ official Twitter account, when asked for his favourite teammate.

Having Dallas back in this Leeds side will be like a new signing. A player that won the club’s Player of the Season award for 2020-21, a season in which Leeds finished in ninth place in the Premier League table.
He is a Premier League player, one that offers top-tier quality at right-back, left-back or in the middle of the park. If Dallas can get back to 70% or 80% of the player he was prior to his injury, it is a huge boost.
