Leeds United are actually coming into the final season of their deal with Adidas.
The Whites have been with the global kit manufacturer for the last four seasons, having initially linked up with them upon their first season back in the Premier League.
Particularly when it comes to the interesting choice of colour on the third and away kits, it would be fair to say Adidas’ perception among Leeds supporters is mixed. Last season’s fruit salad number being a clear example of that.
Leeds are actually usually one of the last clubs in the country to unveil their new shirts before the start of a new season, with last season’s home strip released in mid-July.
Such was the uncertainty 12 months ago, Darko Gyabi was among the most prominent figures in the launch video. It will be interesting to see who he is on it this time around, as it is usually a big indication of the club’s confidence in keeping them.

Leeds’ new kit could see interesting badge change
Leeds know all to well the backlash from supporters in which a badge change can cause if it is not done well.
Back in January 2018, the club unveiled a new logo that featured the club’s full name and a torso with a fist placed against the heart, depicting a gesture known as the ‘Leeds Salute’.
Unfortunately, however, it looked dreadful and such was the strength of the pushback from supporters, it was changed back to the original one, which it still remains six-and-a-half-years on.
However, according to the Athletic, the club’s new 2024/25 kits could actually feature a badge change on it, in a way far more likely to appease supporters.
It is said potential designs for the new strips have ‘included earlier iterations of the club’s crest’, including the iconic smiley badge that represented Leeds between 1973 and 1981.
This would take Leeds towards a more retro theme when it comes to their new kits, which Adidas have previously implemented successfully at some of their biggest clubs including Arsenal and Manchester United.

Leeds’ front of shirt sponsor to be Red Bull
Leeds’ new kit is certainly going to have somewhat of an interesting look to it anyway following the lucrative sponsorship deal agreed with Red Bull.
BOXT had been Leeds’ front of shirt sponsor during the 2023/24 campaign, but after just one year, they will be replaced by Red Bull.
The global energy drinks brand have no power to change anything regarding Leeds’ name, stadium or badge, but will take the place as the kit’s most prominent sponsor.
It will certainly be interesting to see how that looks on Leeds’ home kit, particularly given that on both the RB Leipzig and RB Salzburg kits, it is predominantly the colour red.
