The Championship title race remains incredibly tight with just five fixtures remaining for Leeds United, Burnley and Sheffield United.
It’s been a rollercoaster of a Championship season and it promises yet more twists and turns in the few weeks that remain.
Things are tight at the top of the Championship table, with Leeds United reclaiming top spot on goal difference after their narrow victory over Middlesbrough, thanks to Dan James’ early strike.
A terrible run of just one win in six games for Daniel Farke’s side threatened to condemn Leeds to play-off hell, but no team is immune to pressure and rivals Sheffield United and Burnley have both slipped up as well.
Chris Wilder is even calling out his own supporters as the heat turns up on the three title contenders as they vie to return to the Premier League.
Here are all three sides’ remaining games.

Remaining fixtures for Leeds, Burnley and Sheffield United
Just five fixtures remain for each Championship team, and unlike the dull Premier League, nothing is decided yet.
| Position | Team | Played MP | Won W | Drawn D | Lost L | For GF | Against GA | Diff GD | Points Pts |
| 1 | 41 | 24 | 13 | 4 | 80 | 28 | 52 | 85 | |

| 3 | 41 | 26 | 7 | 8 | 56 | 31 | 25 | 83 |
With everything on the line, here’s how the title contenders’ remaining fixtures compare:

| Preston North End (H) – 16th | Plymouth Argyle (A) – 24th | Norwich City (H) – 11th |
| Oxford United (A) – 18th | Cardiff City (H) – 22nd | Watford (A) – 10th |

Who has the easiest Championship title run-in?
A great advantage Leeds have in the run-in is that Burnley and Sheffield United still face each other on Easter Monday, so at least one of them will drop points. As long as the Whites keep their heads, they should secure promotion at least.
Leeds’ fixtures are fairly comfortable, as well. They face three of the bottom seven, including the rock bottom side Plymouth, who will likely already be relegated, on the final day.
Their last home game is against 5th-place Bristol City, though they may already have their promotion spot confirmed by then.
The Blades have an even easier run, despite facing Burnley, as they take on 24th, 22nd, 20th and 12th.
Burnley have the toughest set of fixtures as they face just one side in the bottom half, and even then it’s only 15th-placed QPR.
The title is in Leeds’ hands and they will only have themselves to blame if they don’t win it.
