Leeds United News understand Haji Wright is being watched closely amid a stunning start to the season with Coventry City.
The United States international has bagged nine goals in 13 appearances so far this term, helping Frank Lampard’s side sit three points clear of Middlesbrough at the top of the Championship.

Exclusive: Leeds United like Haji Wright and are still looking at Josh Sargent too
Sources state that Leeds considered a move for Wright during the summer transfer window, as the 49ers looked to sign a new striker for Daniel Farke.
Eventually, no move materialised as Lukas Nmecha and Dominic Calvert-Lewin arrived on free transfers instead, but interest remains.
We understand Leeds would be keen on signing Wright in the winter transfer window, although it will be difficult to convince Coventry to sell given their position in the table, with automatic promotion a real possibility after eight wins and four draws from 12 Championship games so far.
Leeds United News have been told that Josh Sargent – who Burnley bid for – remains of interest as well.
The Norwich No.9 – another United States international – can boast five goals from 12 Championship games so far this term.
Haji Wright can ask Patrick Bamford all about Leeds United
Patrick Bamford is training with Coventry after his departure from Elland Road in August, where he is playing alongside Wright on a daily basis.
If the Coventry No.11 does have any interest in a move to Yorkshire, he can therefore speak to the England international, who made 205 appearances for Leeds in total.

Wright has also previously played with Weston McKennie for both Schalke and the United States, the latter of whom Aaronson also represents – making 14 appearances next to the Leeds No.11 so far.
As a result, there are many people for the 27-year-old to lean on if he wants to find out more about Leeds.
