Leeds United fans are all in agreement on three players so far this season

Leeds United have four points from their three Premier League games, while also being dumped out of the League Cup to Sheffield Wednesday.

It’s been a strange start for Daniel Farke’s side, with Leeds United’s four points particularly impressive but with disappointment against their local rivals and during a five-goal defeat to Arsenal.

The Whites have a somewhat favourable run of games on the horizon. Not only will they be intent on winning valuable points in these games, but also in bedding new signings in.

So far, the only new signings who have started every league game are Lucas Perri, Gabriel Gudmundsson, and Anton Stach. However, there are seven other fresh faces who will be pushing to become regular starters, too.

Leeds United’s three August Player of the Month candidates

Over the course of the four games so far, there have been some who have come out with more credit than others in the Leeds team, especially given the disastrous two games sandwiched between two displays of real promise.

However, Leeds asked the question to fans on who should be the Player of the Month and the same three names popped up the most consistently.

Others were more clear, with one stating: “Jayden Bogle all day.”

A further response read: “Stach of gudmundsson, take your pick.”

User @JayCoyle301 said: “Anton Stach”, while others were inclined to post their frustration at the lack of transfer activity on deadline day with the below.

Bogle was the only player to score an open play goal for Leeds, while Stach has already been incredible statistically. They are arguably the standouts for those reasons alone.

Graham Smyth’s Jayden Bogle verdict

Bogle has been praised of late by Graham Smyth, he stated: “Jayden Bogle was signed for £5 million. That is looking worse and worse for Sheffield United all the time, you know, particularly with the way he started this season.

“He started this season in the Premier League better than he started last season in the Championship. Players like that.”

The former Sheffield United ace came off the bench and excelled against the Blades’ rivals, while also taking to life as a Premier League full-back well in the Everton and Newcastle fixtures.
