Leeds United fans all notice the same thing about Manor Solomon after draw vs Swansea City

It’s such hard work for Leeds United. Twice they had the lead against Swansea City and twice they threw it away.

Brenden Aaronson scored after just a minute of the game against Swansea City at Elland Road on Saturday. And despite Harry Darling’s equaliser it looked as though Wilfried Gnonto turned super sub for Daniel Farke once again.

The Italian looked like he scored the winning goal for Leeds United with five minutes left to play, but Swansea would go on to score in the 97th minute of the game, with both goals arguably at the fault of Illan Meslier – the first definitely – as Leeds drew 2-2 with Swansea City.

Leeds United fans critical of Manor Solomon vs Swansea City

Among a few players who looked off the pace against Swansea City, it was Manor Solomon who many fans thought had the worst game of any Leeds player.

“Solomon can come off for me, doing absolutely nothing in this match today,” said one Leeds fan, as another posted on social media: “Solomon is having a stinker today.”

And many more weighed in adding: “Solomon has been terrible today. I hope we don’t sign him permanently,” as well as: “Solomon has to be coming off soon, he’s been awful today.”

“Another Solomon stinker?” asked one Leeds supporter. Other comments read: “Has Solomon forgotten how to play football? Looks like he’s won a competition,” and: “Solomon is a mile off the pace today.”

Manor Solomon’s stats for Leeds United vs Swansea City

For a while now, it’s been reported that Leeds United want to sign Solomon permanently in the summer. On the whole he’s had a good season but he’s not been at it for a while now, though perhaps this Swansea City performance can be put down to the fact that Solomon was on international duty this month.

Nonetheless, his stats against the Welsh outfit failed to paint a pretty picture for the 25-year-old…

Up next for Leeds United is a trip to Luton Town on Saturday. The Whites go into the next week in 2nd place of the Championship table.
