Stuart Holden has taken to Twitter to rave about Leeds United star Tyler Adams, claiming that if he continues the way he is performing then there is every chance he could leave – and join a club competing in the Champions League.
Adams, 23, has been superb for Leeds this season – starting all but one game, the 2-0 loss to Leicester. The USA star was incredible in wins over Liverpool and Chelsea, already a fan favourite due to his work rate and aggression.
His form has continued at the World Cup. He was easily America’s best player against Wales during a 1-1 draw, and was crucial in stopping England on Friday – a game which ended 0-0. Adams is earning plenty of praise back home.
Adams has only just joined Leeds. Holden, a former United States and Premier League midfielder, took to Twitter to give his verdict on the USA ace. He claims that Adams could join a Champions League club sooner rather than later.

It would be a massive blow. Adams is arguably Leeds’ most-important player at the moment. He knits everything together and while he is seen as the defensive screen, he is also more than capable of creating from deep, too.
He is good enough for a Champions League club. But, if as Holden claims his form continues throughout the season, then Leeds need to think about tying him down long-term. Even more so, than his current deal which ends in 2027.
But as things stand, Adams is a Leeds player. He has a long-term contract at the club and if anyone wants to buy him, you would think he might already be worth double, if not more, the £20million fee we paid for him in the summer.
